Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing, this job will focus on the end-to-end onboarding process of new e-commerce customers from initiation to execution while also supporting new e-commerce initiatives to expand our digital product portfolio presence.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and analyze new e-commerce opportunities, emerging trends, and upcoming technologies

  • Develop strategy and execute and optimize e-commerce initiatives and projects to drive revenue and conversions

  • Drive the onboarding process of new e-commerce customers through our procurement technologies (PunchOut, CIF, marketplaces, etc.)

  • Coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate new customer enablement and integrations

  • Build and manage the e-commerce relationship with the customer including being the point of contact, negotiation of contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Analyze data and report on metrics to determine areas for improvement

  • Be a champion for purchasing and system integration to support order processing automation between customer, webstore, and ERP systems

  • Coordinate with Sales and Product Marketing to expand the digital product portfolio and execute initiatives that expand our digital footprint and presence

  • Work with the web development team to drive the evolution of our e-commerce platform

  • Manage customer accounts on our webstore

Qualifications

  • Minimum BSc in life sciences, preferably an MSc

  • Computer science is an asset

  • 2+ years relevant experience with sales or business and data analysis in e-commerce discipline

  • 2+ years experience with eprocurement systems (Ariba, LabCloud, SciQuest, etc), marketplaces (Amazon Business, Quartzy, etc.), and comparison sites (BioCompare, 1DegreeBio, etc.)

  • Customer facing experience in sales, technical support or negotiations

  • Track record of managing multiple projects across departments and consistently meeting deadlines

  • Ability to utilize computer applications and programs that perform analysis, organize data and create reports from various sources

  • Salesforce reporting experience is an asset

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
