This position is Software heavy and Hardware light
Most of your time will be working with our valued clients, end users via email, phone and secured desktop portals
Triage and management of support tickets with Atlasian Service desk ticket software
Troubleshooting, Guidance & light end user Training
Reporting program issues (bugs)
Testing Software modifications
Execute Scheduled Software Updates with Customers
Attend weekly Q&A meetings
Assist with in-house Daily Back-ups
Emergency after hours on call shifts
2 years + Experience in a technical software support role or cross-over skills.
You love to find answers and solve problems
Patient, polite and professional under stress
Excellent comprehension and listening skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Basic understanding of data management models
Basic knowledge of PC and Microsoft operating environments.
Basic working knowledge of hardware integration
Preference will be given to individuals with accounting skills, Computer Science diploma, Microsoft Certification, and second language skills.
Our clients are geographically located across North America. distrib-u-tec software is deployed on TS workstations, handheld RF scanner computers, POS equipment, tablets, and laptops.
Some environments have integrated weigh scales. Scanners, Barcodes and labelling practises are part of our fully traceable warehouse management systems. Our clients are food distributors, packers and processors.
