CDL Truck Driver
Reports to: Dispatcher / President

Job Objective: We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to serve our local and regional supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities:

• Deliver the merchandise to the customers (residential and commercial), in a prompt, safe, business like and friendly manner
  
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
  
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
  
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Requirements and skills

• Have a high school/GED Diploma
  
• Must possess a class A CDL with two years over the road experience
  
• Must have 2 years of experience
  
• TWIC card is preferred
  
• For insurability purposes, must be at least 25 years of age or older with a valid driver s license and be able to pass a pre-employment and regularly scheduled post-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) inquiries
  
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and will be subject to random testing
