About Us:

Winedom Imports is a boutique wine importer specializing in independent, family-owned wineries that control the entire winemaking process—from vineyard to bottle. We pride ourselves on curating an exceptional portfolio of artisanal wines that deliver quality, authenticity, and value. As we expand our presence in Brooklyn, we are seeking a passionate and driven Area Sales Manager to grow our customer base and strengthen relationships in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage sales accounts, including restaurants, wine bars, and retail stores in Brooklyn.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, sommeliers, and store managers.
  • Present and educate clients on Winedom Imports’ unique portfolio of wines.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth in the territory.
  • Conduct in-store tastings, staff trainings, and promotional events to increase brand awareness.
  • Work closely with the Winedom Imports team to strategize and meet sales goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity, client interactions, and order placements.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of wine sales experience (distributor, importer, or retail/restaurant experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of wine, with a passion for independent producers and artisanal winemaking.
  • Established relationships with Brooklyn’s wine retail and restaurant scene is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality to acquire new accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Compensation Package:

  • Bonus opportunities
  • Commission only

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
