Position Summary: 

We’re looking for a self-starting Business Systems Analyst (US Citizenship required) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with Oracle or Infor ERP products and a minimum of 2 years’ experience with software development, including scripting, and report creation or business decision support in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The Business Systems Analyst is a critical member of our IT team, leaning forward into manufacturing automation, decision science and process optimization technology, as a member of a highly capable and knowledgeable team deeply vested in our shared achievement and success as the IT organization continues to make advances toward modernizing aerospace manufacturing systems and processes in the US and abroad.

This position reports directly to the Manager of Business Technology Integration and must be able to work both independently and in collaboration with team members from other technical disciplines and business units. The ideal candidate is driven by technical curiosity, a desire to learn the business, and a willingness to adopt and expand knowledge of the various applications and processes supporting the business. A highly accountable, approachable, and competent professional with a positive attitude can thrive in this position.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: 
•    Be the principal IT systems point of contact to the business and a technical consultant for ERP plant operations, automation, and other supporting systems.
•    Collaborate and work with application developers, data engineers and infrastructure architects to identify, define depict and develop compelling technical solutions using modern, sustainable technologies 
•    Engage directly with business stakeholders analyze and document detailed system specifications to enhance business and manufacturing processes operating through Oracle and Infor products. 
•    Develop technical solutions and proposals for business acceptance
•    Conduct individual and group user training sessions
•    Document application requirements, technical specifications, use-cases, and workflow processes
•    Participate in test development and acceptance testing for proposed solutions
•    Support and implement Corporate and Division data governance and master data initiatives
•    Ensure application of company compliance, safety, environmental, governmental policies, and regulations to all business systems and solutions
•    Familiarity with SOX and D-FARS compliance is a plus.

 Required Skills:
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience as a developer or developer/analyst with Oracle or Visual ERP
•    2+ years of experience as an analyst for a manufacturing company
•    Must be self-managing and able to both set and meet goals, requirements, milestones and deadlines without strict oversight
•    Able to communicate effectively with business in a professional and friendly manner
•    Able to work both independently and as a productive member of teams collaborating on parallel projects.

Experience & Education 
•    Expertise in Infor Visual (version 8 or similar) or Oracle ERP (R11i or similar). Preferred candidates will also have some knowledge of multiple ERP modules, such as Planning and Scheduling, Customer and Order Management or Supply Chain Management.
•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, manufacturing/industrial engineering and or related studies (or equivalent project-related experience)
•    Good knowledge of SDLC, Agile methods and project management principles
•    Technical proficiency and well-rounded in development and data management technologies is required plus – Infor CSI Mongoose, Ion API, C#.Net, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Forms/Reports, Web Services, REST API, Power BI, e.g.
•    Experience with Schema design, query writing, creating SQL views & stored procedures within the database tier (SQL Server, Oracle).

Working Conditions:
•    Up to 25% travel may be required to attend team meetings, to support engagements at more distant locations or for training

Physical Requirements:
•    Must be able to sit and work in an office environment for extended periods of time
•    Will be required to conduct system analysis and troubleshooting in shop floor environments
•    Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment containing hazardous machinery
•    Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
