Essential Duties and Responsibilities


 



  • Is responsible for selling and cross-selling Credit Union services to current and potential members. Credit Union services are to be promoted using the “member benefit-based approach”.

  • Fully complies with the requirements of all Credit Union policies, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC Policies.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational projects under the direction of the PMO purview to ensure all business requirements are met.

  • Develop the project scopes and business cases containing the goals, efficiencies, as well as the business unit’s requirements and new procedures.

  • Document user requirements and system solutions clearly and comprehensively.

  • Develop standardized technical requirements for programming needs.

  • Serve as liaison between Innovation & System Admin teams, and other business areas.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize business processes through the use of technology.

  • Maintains project portfolio management within the PMO project database.

  • Provide regular status updates to all stakeholders directly involved or directly affected by the project.

  • Research and understand applicable uses of emerging technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance SRP’s member experience

  • Keep abreast of AI technology trends and assist in developing AI technology strategy

  • Ensure all timelines are being followed and report any issues that will require adjusting

  • Participate and work with Project Manager on Strategic Projects to gain more insight on initiatives touching all business units and members.

  • Keep updated on major business units’ processes and procedures in order to ensure an understanding of the effect of projects on the business unit.

  • Ability to navigate a variety of computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, FreshWorks, Microsoft Power Point

  • Performs other duties assigned by Director of Project Management Office.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Work under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

  • The Business Systems Analyst I will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT and business areas are aligned on system requirements

Qualifications:



  • Proven communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in gathering and documenting user requirements.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in business processes.


 


Computer Skills:


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of workload automation, preferably OpCon. Experience with Jack Henry Symitar, Episys and Meridian Link’s Loans PQ preferred. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook Email /Calendar and Internet Explorer software required.
