Class Teacher with an Aspiring Leader of Learning Scholarship for a suitable candidate

TMS/UPS

Full-Time – Permanent

Required for January 2025

Richard Lee Primary School is a school with a great future!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a good teacher who is looking for the next step in their development. We are offering a scholarship package, alongside the teaching post, for a suitable candidate. This is an exciting opportunity for a primary school teacher in KS1 or KS2. You would be joining an enthusiastic team focused on providing great opportunities for learning for our pupils and strengthening the quality of provision.

Within our wonderful school building, we have a large sports hall, well-equipped classrooms, break out zones and intervention spaces, and access to an art room, a music studio and our ‘Acorn’ interactive room with write-on tables. We are lucky that we are set in large spacious school grounds with lush green playing fields and we have multiple playground spaces and outdoor areas, including our woodland spinney.

As a Trust and as a school, we pride ourselves on being the kind of place that people want to work in where everyone recognises the buzz of excitement and togetherness, whatever stage they are at in their career. We are focused upon impacting positively upon our children and we want them to be proud of themselves and proud of their achievements by the time they leave Richard Lee and move onto the next stage in their learning journey. So why not come and join our team!

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a highly motivated, innovative and highly effective teacher of Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 with a willingness to teach across both phases

• Has an inclusive ethos with children at the heart of teaching and learning

• Has the ability to inspire, and enthuse

• Sets high expectations for all

• Is a reflective practitioner who is keen to learn and develop as a leader.

• Has a strong commitment to working in partnership with parents, Governors and the community

• Is a team player with a good sense of humor and a positive attitude

• Has a good understanding of the national curriculum.

We will play to your strengths and can offer you:

• A range of benefits which include cycle to work, free parking, an employee discount scheme, a laptop/iPad and access to the on-site swimming pool.

• A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition.

• Annual Learning & Teaching Conference for all Teaching Staff.

We are proud to be part of Castle Phoenix Trust. This facilitates an opportunity to play to your strengths and provide excellent collaboration between colleagues and leaders, access to effective CPD and the chance to develop professionally. The Trust is committed to invest in and develop all staff and, most importantly, bring about the best possible outcomes for our students who deserve the very best. Our Trust values are really important to all of us and include Respect to All, From All, Innovation and Collaboration.
