Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite)

About Us:
We are a multi-state law firm based in Farmington Hills, specializing in Consumer and Commercial Collections and Insurance Subrogation. We are seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with legal tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Prepare and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting attorneys and other legal staff.
  • Multi-task effectively while prioritizing tasks to meet both individual and firm goals.

  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or Paralegal/Legal Assistant certification, or
  • Comparable experience in a collection law firm or the legal department of a third-party collection environment, or
  • 2-5 years of experience in a law firm or legal department.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Collection Partner and/or Cogent software is a plus.

Attendance Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
