Job Description: As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within the scope of the contract. You will also ensure work performed follows state, local and federal legal requirements. Adhere and ensure staff and subcontractors follow all safety standards and you will also be responsible for the entire project to include tracking budget and schedule status, developing reports as needed by the Client and Construction Documents, organize and utilize resources to ensure the work is completed per the Construction Documents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes project schedules to proactively address potential problems project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates monthly schedule from project feedback.
  • Manages risks and establishes project recovery plans when required. Resolves disputes with minimal need for escalation.
  • Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications, terms, and condition and relevant building codes to determine project requirements
  • Oversees project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes and installation techniques
  • Typically review plans and drawings, prepare estimates according to budgets, hold meetings and set and oversee construction schedules
  • Work with and assist safety personnel to ensure that such requirements are being legally met
  • Responsible for timely completion of all required project close-out documents per contract
  • Ensure all required construction meetings with required personnel, subcontractors, architects and owners are scheduled
  • During Construction Phase, proactively manage project to achieve quality, schedule, budget and safety. Utilize and maintain tools: schedule and document management to track and record project performance
Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
  • Degree in field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7-10 years of relevant construction management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Proven ability to follow through with completion
  • OSHA 30 hr
