JOB SUMMARY: The Contract Administrator will provide support to the Legal Department by performing duties to assist legal and compliance operations. Contract Administrator will manage the contracts administration process, coordinate filings and manage governance for various domestic and global subsidiaries, coordinate the process for approving and setting up new entities, and respond to KYC and due diligence inquiries and concerns. This role will assist with other related activities as requested.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following activities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:

  • Using the eContracts system manage the contract review and approval process to ensure internal requirements have been met prior to contract signing.
  • Facilitate the execution of approved contracts as per the requirements set forth by counterparties or specific jurisdictions.
  • Use the eContracts system to store and maintain a copy of every active contract record.
  • Serve as the point of contact with the local corporate secretary for multiple overseas subsidiaries to ensure that all required documentation and corporate actions are completed as per the applicable deadlines.
  • Ensure copy of all foreign corporate documents and filings are received and maintained as well as maintain a list of required corporate actions.
  • Serve as Process Coordinator for the creation of new entities.
  • Prepare various legal documents based on standard templates.
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to complete KYC and due diligence inquiries. 
  • Other tasks as delegated by the General Counsel and Senior Attorney.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Liberal Arts with 3+ years relevant experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years relevant experience in a corporate legal department.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer-oriented with both internal and external customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Superior organization and project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently to meet deadlines, while remaining calm under pressure. 
  • Demonstrated self-starter who takes ownership, initiative, is proactive, and enjoys working across departments.
