As our Paralegal, you will assist and support attorneys with commercial real estate transactions and corporate matters. You will help with corporate governance, recordkeeping, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. You’ll collaborate across departments, provide input on best practices, and help resolve cross-functional workflow issues.

  • Maintain both digital and physical files, updating them as needed.
  • Review and draft legal documents such as nondisclosure agreements, property access agreements, letters of credit, closing consents, resolutions, title reports, surveys, construction contracts, permits, and development documents, in close consultation with attorneys.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, fund administrators, real estate agents, title companies, loan officers, and clients during closings and corporate transactions.
  • Draft memoranda, letters, and emails to ensure clear communication.
  • Monitor the calendar to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Prepare reports for attorneys, auditors, partners, and lenders as requested.
  • Ensure regular, on-time attendance.
  • Assist with special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

What you should bring

  • Experience working as a corporate and/or real estate paralegal
  • Possess strong Microsoft Office application skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication and client relations skills
  • Must have ability to learn quickly and relate processes to the big picture
  • Must be a team player, self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organized and strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Must have ability to juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced team oriented environment
  • Experience should generally include: review of corporate organizational documents and general contracts, and coordination and closing of acquisition, disposition and loan transactions. Experience with title and survey review preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law or paralegal certificate preferred
