Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Database Designer & Developer to create application-level functionality for our database components, including stored procedures, views, indexes, and triggers. The ideal candidate will develop data transformation tools and ensure that data elements are optimized for performance, aligning with the needs of business logic and user interface modules. Collaboration with the Database Administrator is essential to maintain the health and integrity of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop application-level database functionalities, including stored procedures, views, indexes, and triggers.
• Create data transformation tools to facilitate data integration and processing.
• Ensure high-performance data elements that effectively support business logic and user interface requirements.
• Collaborate with the Database Administrator to monitor and maintain the health and performance of enterprise databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, optimizing queries and processes as necessary.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for database development.
• Work within Agile Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality database solutions on
time.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing stored procedures, views, indexes,and triggers.
• Strong understanding of data transformation tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and query tuning in SQL Server.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
• Knowledge of additional database technologies or programming languages is a plus.
