Collaborates with staff to produce schematic/design development packages that meet client expectations
Researches and recommends materials and finishes to sufficiently convey the design concept
Ensures all materials follow code and technical requirements
Develops understanding of design intent and translates the concepts into design details and presentation
Understands and follow detailed budgets and deadlines established by the client
Maintains design materials within the studio/library; purge unused or outdated materials and finishes
Demonstrates an understanding of code requirements in order to assist in preliminary space plans that are both functional and aesthetically appropriate
Travels to sites for observation and recording of progress
Assists senior design staff with concept images and presenting creative ideas
Implements and has mastered the processes and standards established by Aria Group Architects, Inc.
Continues education to increase knowledge of material selection and design trends
Qualifications
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Experience in hospitality architecture is a plus
Proficient in AutoCAD 2017, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat
Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Illustrator, Newforma
