WHAT YOU’LL DO
You have the skills to identify the best solution for your fellow employees who use our ERP system by combining user feedback with your technical expertise of 10 years. As an ERP systems analyst, you will play a vital role in delivering advanced functional support for the ERP and related applications, ensuring that these applications effectively align with the changing needs of the business.
- Under minimal supervision, consult with management and end-users to identify current and future operating processes and requirements to clarify system objectives for projects of moderate to high levels of complexity
- Review, analyze, and modify application configurations in support of changing business needs
- Comply with and employ industry-standard business analysis methodologies and concepts and enhance business process methodology, including gathering requirements, developing use case scenarios, process flow mapping, and creating test plans
- Work with end-users to test and validate functional processes and system flows
- Create detailed functional specification documents and transfer the knowledge to the IT applications development and support teams
- Work with IT, employees, vendors, and service providers to develop, optimize, and implement system solutions
- Train employees as needed to promote best practice use and adoption of the ERP software
- Work closely with IT and employees to ensure application data integrity and security
- Work to minimize risk using proper change management, which will provide dependability for the operational and long-term success of business objectives
YOUR EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, management of information systems, or computer science
- Ten (10) years minimum experience working with end users in a business analyst role including requirements gathering, analysis, application design and testing, and supporting enterprise-class ERP systems in one or more major functional areas such as financial, order management, procurement, production planning, or supply chain management
- IFS ERP experience (preferred)
- Crystal Reports experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience using SQL with a top-tier database (Oracle, Microsoft SQL)
- Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information and present to management in non-technical terms
- Experience working with integrated systems in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems; clearly communicate findings of analysis; and propose solutions that address expressed needs
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team skills
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, optimize, and document complex business processes
- Provide day-to-day and on-call second-tier end-user application support as needed
