Job Summary:


The Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Nurse Research Program Manager will report to the Nurse Research Scientist and will serve as a leader in the development of a system wide evidence-based practice (EBP) program. This individual will lead EBP foundations in practice and facilitate the translation of evidence into practice by developing strategies for integrating and sustaining EBP in the nursing environment. Provides expertise and guidance in EBP program development, management, and evaluation to ensure ongoing growth of EBP in the practice setting. Supports the Nurse Residency Program with EBP content, project development and dissemination of EBP projects both internally and externally at local/national conferences. Support the nursing research department and nursing with publishing clinical research and EBP projects in peer reviewed journals.


Minimum Qualifications:


NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible) required. Bachelors degree in Nursing and 4 years post licensure RN clinical experience providing direct patient care required. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills required. Strong MS Office experience including Excel computer skills required. Ability to analyze and interpret data is essential for this role. Experience with translating Evidence Based Practice into practice required. CPR-BLS required by time of appointment. Completion of accredited board certified national certification in EBP required within one year of hire.
