Our client, a leading law firm in Orlando, Florida, is in search of a detail-oriented Paralegal to play a pivotal role in managing diverse legal tasks and supporting attorneys in an engaging and fast-paced legal environment.

Job Overview

In this role, you will be essential to the daily functioning of the legal team. Your responsibilities will include providing critical support across various case types, conducting legal research, preparing key documents, and ensuring efficient organization of legal processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough legal research on case laws, statutes, and regulations to assist attorneys in preparing and developing legal strategies.
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as briefs, contracts, motions, and subpoenas with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage and maintain case files to ensure that all relevant documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate communication with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather information and keep cases progressing smoothly.
  • Assist in trial and hearing preparations by organizing exhibits, scheduling, and handling logistical arrangements.
  • File legal documents promptly and accurately with courts and regulatory bodies while adhering to all procedural rules.
  • Monitor attorneys’ calendars, track deadlines, and manage case timelines to meet all legal obligations.
  • Utilize legal software for case management, streamlining workflows, and boosting team productivity.


Requirements
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in legal research tools and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • At least 5 years of relevant paralegal experience within a law firm setting.
  • Paralegal certification is strongly preferred.
  • A degree in Paralegal Studies (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) or a related field.
