Exciting Opportunity: Reception Teacher & Subject Lead (Full-Time)

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for early years education and subject leadership? We are seeking a dynamic Reception Teacher & Subject Lead to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Harrow. This is a full-time role, offering a unique opportunity to shape young learners’ foundational experiences while driving excellence in a key subject area.

The Role:
As a Reception Teacher, you will create a stimulating and nurturing environment where children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) can thrive. Your role will involve delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to meet diverse classroom needs. Additionally, as a Subject Lead, you will take on a strategic role in curriculum development, staff training, and fostering excellence in your chosen subject area.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality EYFS lessons that inspire curiosity and promote holistic development.
• Leading in a specific subject area, including curriculum planning, innovation, and staff mentoring.
• Supporting and collaborating with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to enhance student outcomes.
• Managing classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring every child’s unique needs are met.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in EYFS teaching.
• Deep expertise in a specific subject area, with the ability to lead and inspire staff.
• Strong understanding of child development and EYFS curriculum frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships within the school community.
• A proactive and innovative approach to teaching and leadership.
