DeLeers Construction is seeking an experienced residential carpenter to join our team as a Crew Lead. Due to growth, we currently have a position open on both our Framing Crew and our Finishing Crew. Crew leads are accountable to distribute work on the job site, mentor other carpenters, and communicate with the project superintendent to ensure that projects are done on time with the detail and quality of a DeLeers structure. DeLeers Carpenters will work on both large and unique residential projects and light commercial construction projects. If you are looking for challenging projects, DeLeers is the team for you! We are based out of DePere, WI however, many of our projects are in beautiful Door County.


The Crew Lead position is an hourly (non-exempt) role. The starting rate is posted at $28.00 to $35.00 + per hour depending on your experience level. In addition to the hourly base rate, we will also pay travel pay, daily per diem, $3 per hour differential pay when on location, and overnight accommodations when needed for the occasional overnight trips.

Crew Lead coordinate with Superintendents on both residential and commercial construction projects. They will construct, erect, install, and/or repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other various materials. DeLeers Construction's projects are one-of-a-kind and will require teamwork and out of the box thinking to complete.

  • Must be able to travel out-of-town for various job projects and stay overnight when required.

  • Hold, or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.

  • Walk, prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.

  • Use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.

  • Frequently lift and/or move 25+ pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
