DescriptionAs a Foreman with Stryker Electric, you’ll lead skilled electricians and apprentices to deliver top-quality, code-compliant electrical projects on time and safely. This role combines hands-on work with team leadership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with project managers to uphold Stryker Electric’s high standards in every installation and repair.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations at the worksite, coordinating tasks and assigning duties to electricians and apprentices.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices according to building codes and regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial settings.
- Conduct circuit tests and measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and phase displacement using electrical instruments.
- Collaborate with other electricians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code.
- Communicate with project managers to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on activities, labor hours, equipment usage, and project milestones.
- Implement on-site safety protocols, perform inspections, and address any safety concerns.
- Train and mentor team members in safety practices and construction tasks.
RequirementsQualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a foreman or in a similar role.
- Proficient in construction methods, blueprint reading, and safety regulations.
- Basic Computer skills, able to email, download documents and edit simple forms
Preferred Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Journeyman License. Or equivalent experience
- OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain.
