The Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program (GVHCP) of the Department of Public Health (DPH) works to increase access to quality health care for uninsured Georgians through volunteerism and state-sponsored sovereign immunity (SI). There are 4 Regional Volunteer Coordinators (RVC) that provide technical support to the partnering clinics in their specified region.
Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment
OR
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Five years of experience performing work related to area of assignment
OR
One year of experience at the lower level Healthcare Program Consultant 2 (HCP091) or position equivalent.

DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
