About the Job:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join our team at the Montreal Fulfillment Center. Reporting to the HR Leader supporting our Operations Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the HR roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that enhance the employee experience across four key pillars: positive employee relations, talent management and performance, compliance, and change management.

Collaborating cross-functionally with HR and Operations teams, you will design and implement solutions that address root causes and align with business goals. This role requires a strong on-site presence, with 4-5 days a week at our Fulfillment Center in the Ville Saint-Laurent borough.

What You Will Do:

  • Foster employee engagement through engagement surveys, employee feedback boards, and observation tours, supporting leaders with rolling out targeted action plans.
  • Identify HR business needs in a constantly evolving environment and develop scalable, consistent processes to promote positive employee relations.
  • Coach and support leaders on HR processes including performance management, workforce planning, talent management, and identifying training needs. 
  • Partner with operations to support workforce planning activities and align HR practices with business demands. 
  • Advise and coach management on employee relations matters, performance management and HR policies.
  • Lead resolution of employee concerns, conducting compliance investigations in line with labour standards and company policies.
  • Develop and implement change management and communication plans to support the business, in collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent studies. CPHR designation is an asset.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Advisor.
  • Strong knowledge of Quebec labour legislation.
  • Must be fluent in French both spoken and written.
  • Proven experience supporting both salaried and hourly employee groups.
  • Strong communication and change management skills.
  • On-site presence required 4-5 days per week, with flexibility as needed.

Assets:

  • Experience in a distribution centre, manufacturing, or retail environment
  • Proficiency with Workday HRIS.
