As the HR Manager, he/she will be a key driver of the organization’s Human Resources functions in Dubai and also overseeing HR matters in Abu Dhabi. He/She is playing a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role needs to leverage one’s expertise in HR best practices, need to lead initiatives to attract, develop and retain top talent. With a focus on strategic HR Management, HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to align Human Resources strategies with organizational goals.
Responsible to/Report to: Head of Human Resources & Administration
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries, concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations and development plans.9) Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-today management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Implement and execute the company’s policies and procedures.
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Generate / produce HR reports for Management.
- Any other HR matters assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Relations / Business Administration or similar disciplines.
- 10 years of experience in the HR industry in a similar role and capacity.
- Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English and local languages.
- Proficient in Google Docs & MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Able to cope in a high intensity and fast-paced work environment.
- Candidates from shared service or MNCs background as preferred.
