 The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing HR strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives. This role combines both operational and strategic HR duties, requiring a balance of managing day-to-day HR activities and developing long-term HR initiatives. The position requires a seasoned HR professional with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.


Strategic Leadership:

· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

· Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on HR matters, including workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.

· Drive our culture and servant-leader approach to the HR department and overall company.

· Analyze HR trends and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improving HR processes and practices.

· Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes.

 Operational HR Management:

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

· Oversee and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement and relations, and offboarding.

· Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

 · Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and equitable practices.

· Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts fairly and consistently while embracing our cultural values.

· Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and HR recordkeeping.

Talent Management:

· Develop and implement talent improvement strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

· Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.

· Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and career growth opportunities.

· Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity.

 Compliance and Risk Management:

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

· Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and communicated effectively.

· Manage employee safety, health, and wellness programs, including compliance with occupational safety standards.

· Conduct regular audits of HR practices to identify and mitigate risks.


Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or departmental leadership level role. Agricultural experience is a plus.
  • Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute operational tasks efficiently.

Working Conditions:

· This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional travel and exposure to agricultural settings where noise and moving agricultural equipment are present.


Salary Description

$105,000 to $135,000
