They are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Humanities Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent capacity starting immediately.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's thriving Humanities department and inspire students to explore the rich tapestry of human history, societies, and cultures. The role entails:

  • Designing and delivering engaging Humanities lessons (encompassing subjects such as History, Geography, RE, and potentially others) aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.
  • Fostering a passion for the Humanities in students, encouraging critical thinking, inquiry, and a global perspective.
  • Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalized learning strategies to maximize individual potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school community to develop and enhance the Humanities curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Humanities-related field (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level.

  • Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
