This position serves as the Information Systems Auditor-in-Charge conducting Information Technology audits. In this role you will be responsible for conducting tests of major new systems and modifications to systems maintained by DoIT. In addition, you will review internal controls within the IS applications to ensure compliance with various requirements including COBIT5, ISACA defined IS Auditing Standards,Guidelines and Procedures, NIST standards, Federal and State statutes, standards and policies developed by other authoritative entities such as the AICPA, IIA and others as appropriate, and all applicable DoIT policies and procedures.

Under general direction, serves as the Information Systems Auditor-in-Charge for the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT).
Assigns audit segments to team members and explains the assignment’s relationship to the overall audit objectives.
Provides input to the Chief Internal Auditor in the preparation of audit procedures, development of the annual audit plan, and audit manuals and policies used by division staff.
Continues education through formal and in-house training.
Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
