SALARY RANGE: $86,795.00 - $149,519.00 Annually
BACKGROUND CHECK: Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint screening and must be successfully completed.
PROBATION: All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a mandatory 1-year probation.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Open-Source Supervisor role is responsible for the oversight, leadership and mentorship for the Open-Source Analysts We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intelligence analysis, with a particular focus on open-source data. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights. As an OSINT Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from a variety of open sources, including social media, news articles, public records, and other online platforms. You will work closely with other members of the intelligence team to provide comprehensive reports and briefings to support decision-making processes. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the tools and techniques used in OSINT, as well as a strong commitment to ethical and legal standards. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field, and to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
