Job Description
Interco has an opening for a skilled IT Support Specialist in the IT department. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual that has excellent customer service skills as well as strong technical skills. This IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
- Resolve help desk tickets
- Provision workstations
- Troubleshoot connectivity and file share issues
- Diagnose hardware issues
- Work with Active Directory and Microsoft O365
- Workstation and wire management
- Catalogue IT assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer information systems or a related major
- At least two years of experience as a desktop support technician or similar role
- Experience in a domain environment

The Interco recycling facilities are separated into three departments: nonferrous metals, computers and electronics, and battery processing. The nonferrous facility is located on the 40-acre main campus in Madison (IL) while the computers and electronics are processed in Edwardsville where the Administrative and some logistics offices are located. The commercial department is located on The Hill in St. Louis.
