The IT Support Specialist role is responsible for handling service requests. This relates to all technology, to include workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing great customer service, troubleshooting technical problems, and documenting processes. You will be part of a team and collaborate regularly, while having a mix of hands-on, detail-oriented work. We believe strongly in providing a path of growth and promoting from within. Specific Responsibilities of this Role:

    • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
    • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
    • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
    • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
    • Setting up accounts for new users
    • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
    • Testing new technology
    • Must be available occasionally on nights and weekends to perform off-hour maintenance and projects
    • Work Remotely during and after business hours to help any pop up needs
    • Travel to support branches across the Midwest will be required as needed to support the business

About You:

    • 5+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education in the technology field required
    • Network Understanding

    • Strong troubleshooting skills
