    Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Install new end-user workstations and perform adds/moves/changes as needed.

  • Install and configure and support Office productivity and vertical applications.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network configurations.

  • Train end-users on proper use of hardware and software.

  • Communicate status and progress reports for ongoing projects.

  • Enhance skill set to accommodate new systems or applications.

  • Troubleshoot cottage Wi-Fi and phone issues

  • Assist on project rollouts.

  • Assist in setup of IT systems for special events.

  • Other duties as assigned.


 


Safety Responsibilities and Requirements:


  • Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs.

  • Reports safety or hazard concerns to management.

  • Reports any on the job injury to management.

  • Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.


Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:



  • CompTIA A+ and Net+ certification (or candidate).

  • Microcomputer hardware recognition, installation, and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to provide end-user support of Microsoft Office and other software.

  • General operation of applications in a Windows 7 or Windows 10 environment.

  • Basic understanding of server 2016 and 2012 operating systems.

  • Basic understanding of computer networks, TCP/IP. Wi-Fi.

  • Communication of concepts and details necessary to train end-users.

  • Ability to learn new systems, applications, and tools.

  • Good communication skills – written and verbal.

  • Proven ability to interact effectively and positively with end-users, staff and guests.

  • Ability to self-start and work well independently and within a team.

  • Must have good organizational skills and be able to accurately document work.


 


Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:



  • Ability to work under stress.

  • Maintain positive attitude while dealing with end-users and guests.

  • Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.

  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (45lbs and over).

  • Periods of walking, standing, bending and or stooping.
