As an Analytical Chemist, you'll analyze flavor ingredients that enhance foods and beverages that is enjoyed by millions worldwide. You'll generate and analyze analytical data, supporting research and flavor creation teams to ensure successful product development. You’ll contribute to research projects, improve analytical methods, and maintain advanced instrumentation. Your Title: Analytical Chemist 
Your Location: Cincinnati, OH 
Reporting to: Research Manager
 
Main Responsibilities:
•    Support Commercial Projects: Generate, interpret, and communicate analytical data on the composition of flavor, food, and beverages for commercial projects. Provide analytical support to improve output and ensure successful product development.
•    Research and Development: Implement methods and capabilities for analyzing ingredients for flavors, food, beverages. Perform research and technical projects within the area of expertise, contributing to strategies and development of growth areas.
•    Data Reporting: Generate results, deliver and discuss the outcome with the flavor creation, and S&T (Science & Technology) research teams. Build a broad range of procedures to complete major programs.
•    Maintenance and Innovation: Maintain instruments and databases related to analytical chemistry. Pursue new approaches to research challenges, ensuring growth in knowledge of instruments.

Required Skills and Background:
•    Completed professional education in chemistry, food chemistry, or related fields, with a master’s degree or equivalent.
•    Experience in Liquid Chromatography (LC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) is required.
•    Familiarity with Mass Spectrometry.
•    Knowledge of analytical for food, natural products, or organic chemistry.
•    Flexible to implement a broad range of analytical tasks using several instruments.
•    Persistent with the ability to deal with large datasets.
•    Creative and systematic thinking.
•    High interest in growing your knowledge with instruments.
