The role

As a Lawyer in this team, you will work closely with Partners Andrew Steele, Nikki Robinson and Eva Oraham.

As a team that prioritises professional development and mentoring, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow, working on varied and exciting matters across a range of private sector and government clients. This team also offers genuine flexibility and values diversity and inclusion.

In this role, you will play a key role in an array of matters, ranging from acquisitions and disposals, to property development work, to large property and infrastructure project work, including in collaboration with other practice areas (e.g. Corporate, Major Projects & Construction, Environment & Sustainable Development).  You will work closely with senior members of the team to manage property transactions and will be encouraged to foster engaging client relationships.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a leading Property practice;

  • Possess strong academic results;

  • Have experience across a broad ranged of property transactions, and the ability to demonstrate a strong legal grasp of key principles relevant to real estate.

  • Be experienced within the NSW jurisdiction;

  • Communicate with impact to both internal stakeholders and clients;

  • Be genuinely passionate about working in a team and mentoring Graduate Lawyers and Summer Clerks, providing quality and timely feedback to aid in their development; and

  • Effectively manage your time and approach your work in a collaborative manner.

The Real Estate team
