This is a full-time position with benefits, onsite at our location in Santa Maria, CA.

  • Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area

  • Operate various types of CNC machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements, may include basic program adjustments to meet quality and schedule requirements

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures

  • Can simultaneously operate up to 4 machines when practical and necessary

  • Performs basic daily maintenance or checks for machines

  • Maintain safety, quality, and standard procedures

  • Monitor tool life program



    Qualifications-



    • High school diploma/GED-recent grads welcome!

    • 1-2 years’ industrial experience desired in  production and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) desired

    • Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and production systems desired

    • Must read/write/speak English fluently

    • Computer skills (MS Office) and experience in ERP systems preferred

    • Working knowledge of manufacturing principals and basic shop math

    • Ability to read and follow work orders, set up data sheets, and measurement instructions

    • Knowledge of hand tools and general inspection tools

    • Detail oriented with good time management and organization skills

    • Lift 40 pounds

    Pay range: $17.50 per hour - If we determine you have a higher technical skill set/experience we can consider a higher compensation range
