Job Description

What You Get To Do:

The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to ensure that all preventive, corrective and renovative maintenance needs of assigned buildings, grounds, and vehicles are completed in accordance with licensure and regulations. This position is also responsible to complete maintenance repairs as necessary. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure residential homes, grounds, and property are well maintained and in good repair at all times
  • Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning
  • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of Dungarvin's fleet of vehicles
  • Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs
  • ensure an organized, responsible, and controlled manner of acquiring and maintaining all tools, equipment and keys belonging to the organization. 
  • Ensure maintenance documentation is completed and maintained for all repairs. 

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years experience in building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
  • Must possess ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
  • Must have good decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, flexible, and able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Appropriate transportation and basic tools required. 
  • Ability to be on call in evenings and weekends
