What Are We Looking For?
UCI is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all assigned UCI facilities within the Lowcountry/Charleston area. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will assess and consider daily 1) the security of UCI assets and 2) the service to patients.
Do You Have What It Takes?
A good candidate will bring with them:
Certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience related to project management, facilities and/or maintenance and certification
Valid South Carolina Driver’s License
Six months experience to include a basic understanding of facilities-related work
Comprehensive ability to execute both oral and written instructions, including directions from the facilities help desk
Ability to prioritize and multi-task while ensuring proper execution of facilities job responsibilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure, and meet or exceed deadlines amid strict time constraints
Ability to use standard powered and non-powered maintenance tools
Ability and immediate responsiveness to travel to various work-site locations as needed
