Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Helpdesk support
- IT service hotline (best to have hunting line with another junior)
- Manage service desk mailbox
- Assign tickets (both hotline and mailbox)
- As the first tier of service desk
- Password reset / Account unlock
- Maintain IT Communication email and distribution list
- Create/disable user account
- Data and device security assistance
IT procurement processes and IT risk control
- Application record (including assign application number and filing – use template form attached)
- To administrate security applications for computer networks and directory services
Formulate computer disaster recovery plans and arrange for relevant tests to comply with the regulator’s requirements
- Follow up application (approval and place order)
- Internal and external IT audit supporting
- Delivery note filing
- Invoice collection and pass to Finance
- Follow up with Finance with outstanding payment
- Full set of IT expenses record
Inventory control (CMBD)
- IT fixed asset records
- IT supplies inventory
Network and hardware maintenance
- Supervise and control the overall operations and implementation of IT Systems,e.g the servers, daily backup, network, UPS, live systems, internet.
- Guide and train bank staff with IT knowledge.
- Supervise the security program of the computer and telecommunications systems and delegate powers to authorised users
- Formulate computer disaster recovery plans and arrange for relevant tests to ensure that the plan is in compliance with the regulator’s requirements
At least 5 years experience
Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (2003/2008/2008R2/2012 Server/XP/Vista/7/8)
Core Microsoft Infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, AD, RDS, DFS)
Systems Virtualisation (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V)
Backup technologies (Veeam, Backup Exec, System Recovery, Endpoint Protection, LTO)
Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
Hardware firewalls and router configuration
Switching (HP, Cisco, Juniper)
System and network monitoring
