Job Summary
Massanutten Resort is seeking a full-time marketing specialist. This position focuses primarily on content creation/writing, PR administration and scheduling, project management and special events/projects. Our specialist will assist the Resort Marketing in content creation (email, A/B testing, social ads and posts, newsletters, website/SEO, scripts, etc) incorporating MarTech and the use of generative AI. Strong writing (creative, descriptive, and expository) and editing skills are a must. The right candidate will also be well versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, tactics, and data analytics. PR activities will be putting together dynamic itineraries for VIPs, media, and influencers working with Resort Ops Departments to showcase the best of the best at Massanutten. This person will also assist with coordinating these
activities, setting up for media events and visits, and hosting. We are also looking for the right person to assist us with project management, meeting timelines, workflows, and efficiencies through the use of their own organization skills and implementing the right tech tools. Days:
Five days a week including Saturdays (Tuesday-Saturday or Monday-Thursday & Saturday)
Weekends and holidays as needed
Hours:
8 am – 4:30 pm, 8:30 am – 5 pm or 9 am – 5:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break
