Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to
find a Mechanical Designer based out of their Calgary,
Alberta office. Our client is a rapidly growing Mechanical and
Electrical consulting firm. They are proud of their adaptability,
accountability, and creativity. Mission-driven and have an unwavering
commitment to provide creative, detailed, and coordinated design solutions to
their clients in Canada and across North America.


Design and drafting of H.V.A.C systems, plumbing, and
drainage in AutoCAD and Revit; Assist Project Managers to meet clients’
deliverables; Coordinate with the design team. Multi-Family experience
preferred.



Requirements

  • Strong AutoCAD and Revit Skills
  • Heating and cooling load calculations using HAP tools or
    similar

  • Ability to size mechanical systems and select equipment
  • Ability to review, interpret and apply building codes in
    different jurisdictions

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to identify potential risks and report them to the
    PMs

  • Mixed Use, Multi-Family experience would be an asset
  • 4–7 years working experience in the building industry with
    extensive Revit and AutoCAD experience

  • A Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, or
    other related fields

  • C.E.T. designation

    completion with minimal supervision.
