Hours: Monday-Friday – 39 hours per week

Salary: £13.80 - £22.70 per hour (depending on hours, experience, location and type of work)

The role: Reporting to the Project Manager the successful multi skilled carpenter will take on the role of supporting the Branch Works Department with their ongoing works and variety of projects of a construction and refurbishment nature.

Typical duties to include:

• Utilise your expertise in carpentry and other trade skills to contribute to various construction projects.
• Execute tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver outstanding results on time and within budget.
• Assist in supervising some of our small-medium sized jobs.

What you’ll need…

Princebuild are looking for a highly skilled and versatile multi skilled carpenter. We are looking for an experienced professional to join their construction team. You will be dedicated, skilled, and passionate about creating top quality work.

Flexibility is key to this role also as the role will also involve daily travel and possible working away with some unsociable hours from time to time as deemed necessary for the needs of the business.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience of carpentry with multi trade experience
• A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or other relevant qualification
• You must hold a full current UK driving licence and have had 6 months driving experience since passing your test.
• Proficiency in operating a wide range of construction tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to handle diverse tasks
• Willingness to work across England and possess your own set of tools

Desirable:

• CSCS Card
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a further chosen trade
• SSSTS/SMSTS or IOSH Managing/Working Safely
• First Aid at Work

Successful applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, MOJ CTC clearance, MOD vetting clearance and enhanced police clearance.

Hours: Full Time - 39 hours per week:-

Monday – Thursday 07:45hrs to 16:30hrs and Friday 07:45hrs to 15:30hrs

(These hours are on site start and finish times. This will also involve daily travel and possible working away from time to time as deemed necessary for the needs of the business)
