Summary/Objective 
The Network Administrator is responsible for HMC’s computer networks and systems including, but not limited to, installation, configuration, security, and maintenance.


 


Essential Functions



  • Setup and configure new workstations

  • Troubleshoot various problems with existing PCs and Infrastructure

  • Provide End-User support

  • Manage ERP/MRP system

  • Maintain VPNs, network performance, and backups

  • Keep networks running smoothly, including troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues

  • Administer and maintain a secure user environment, and shared resources in general, in accordance with applicable security best practices and optimal resource accessibility best practices

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain computer networks to include Information Systems, Data Recovery, Network Management, or System Administration

  • Act as primary resource for server and network hardware and software issues

  • Perform system administration activities in all phases of a project, to include discovery, design, build, test, and deploy

  • Maintain and administer multiple SQL servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity

  • Manage SIEM solution and conduct log analysis to identify security incidents and ensure compliance with security policies

  • Ability to self-motivate while working individually and as a team

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Server platform and its components including Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2016, failover clustering, certificate services, IIS, and other related technologies

  • Demonstrate knowledge of CMMC controls and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to security standards in organizational practices

Education & Experience



  • Associate’s degree in IT or related field required with minimum of 3 years related work experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft – Minimum 1-3 years (DHCP, Login Scripts, File/Print Services, DHCP, SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, System Hardening, SNMP, Patch Management, IIS Web Services, SQL, Scan Remediation, OS Deployment Group Policy Management)




This job operates primarily in a professional office environment but will also have exposure to the Machine Shop and Welding environment.

Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday  7:00am - 4:00pm but hours may fluctuate due to needs
