Overview
Implements and troubleshoots enterprise-wide voice Technologies, including phone systems, voicemail applications, unified communications CTI and call center applications, IP telephone integrations along with related server management and application administration. Responsible for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of communications hardware, and voice circuits as well as project management of telecom initiatives and support of peripheral systems.
What you will do
- Provides technical expertise implementing and supporting various phone systems throughout RHS. Avaya Aura solutions (Communications Manager, System/Session Manager, Messaging)
- Installs, implements, programs, modifies, moves adds/changes to phone systems and related applications. Ensures system changes and system documentation are properly updated and maintained.
- Assesses and Analyzes customer issues. Provides technical diagnosis and general technical support. Troubleshoot communications hardware and voice circuits. Implements solutions to maintain efficient operations and system integrity.
- Provides training and expertise to end users regarding telecommunications systems. Provides timely and thorough response to customer inquires to determine and repair technical issues.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- Bachelors Degree, Communications or Computer Information Systems (Preferred)
Experience
- 3-4 years relevant telecommunications experience in lieu of 7 years of general experience. (Required)
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and related network services (ie. DHCP, DNS, etc) , communications protocols and standards. General understanding of ethernet, SIP, H.323, digital, analog service delivery. Knowledge of server virtualization, operating systems, (ie Linux, windows, etc.)
- Experience supporting end users
- Outstanding communications skills-oral, written and presentation

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Licenses and Certifications
- 1 of the following certifications: Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist, Avaya Certified Support Specialist, Avaya Certified Solutions Specialist in the areas of Call Center, Messaging, Session Manager, Contact Center, or equivalent Cisco Certification, CCNA Voice, or other industry leading certification. (Required)
- Valid Driver's License Required
