Job Description:


Are you a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for making a difference in the lives of our Nation's veterans? Monterey Consultants, Inc. is seeking compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioners to join our committed healthcare team, providing care in Veterans Affairs Hospitals across the nation. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to veterans, focusing on a holistic approach to healthcare.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnose health conditions.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

  • Provide patient education and counseling on health conditions and preventive care.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

  • Administer medications and treatments.

  • Monitor and adjust care plans as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.

  • Stay current on best practices and the latest healthcare advancements.

  • Engage in telehealth and in-person care, as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree

  • Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia

  • Board Certification

  • Minium of 2 years clinic practice experience

  • BLS certification

  • Able to pass drug screen and background check.

  • Citizen of the United States
