Outside Heavy Equipment Sales Representative - Rapid City

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is looking to hire an Outside Heavy Equipment Sales Representative based out of our Rapid City Branch. The ideal candidate should have equipment sales experience and/or experience in a related field.

The Outside Heavy Equipment Sales representative will:

• *Build and sustain long-lasting realationships with new and existing customres based within an assigned sales territory;


• Travel within an assigned sales terriotory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers;


• Continually meet or exceed sales targets by selling;


• Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive sales;


• Maintain an accurate recorde of all leads, customer accounts and sales;


• Keep abreast of the latest industry devleopments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events;


• Work closly with the sales coordinator to complete paperwork on potential sales;


• Tracks equipment quality throughtout the product lifetime and makes recommendations for alternatives if needed;


• Fields incoming leads. The person should have have a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in equipment sales.

• Must be committed to 100% customer satisfaction;


• Excellent Communication skills both oral and written;


• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and will load and unload equipment;


• Will need to travel within SD to our other locations;


• Must be able to manage customer expectations;


• Detail oriented;


• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with all Microsoft Office products and software Efficient in use of Microsoft Outlook;


• The person should have a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in equipment sales.
