PHP Software Developer

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer. The Software Developer is part of a development team building and working on software systems built on top of Laravel, Twilio & React, WordPress, and Salesforce. The Software Developer is involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing.

This full-time position can be Hybrid in Arlington, VA or Remote.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to improve Laravel, React, and WordPress applications
• Build or improve reporting from our web applications ensuring the data consistency
• Stay up to date on the features available in our software tools, and make recommendations on when enhancements should be adopted
• Develop technical specifications for core business platforms, and validate them with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain documentation for technical audiences and non-technical user support
• Work with tooling for observability, uptime, and performance monitoring
• Be a collaborative colleague who learns from and educates their team
• Proactively communicates, maintains expectations, and keeps work records up to date in project management systems and team communication channels
• Stay current with industry trends and identify new ways for the team to improve.
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ of experience in web application development
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and React
• Excellent debugging skills
• Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Comfort in an environment with both onsite and remote employees
• Well organized team player
• Must pass background check.
