The Production Supervisor—3rd Shift leads and coordinates the activities of their shift to realize production targets. This includes assisting with all material supply in line with Production plan to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations and supporting any other operational areas needs. Located at HARIBO of America’s brand new, state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha area, on I-94), the ideal Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift, will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management level position, and at least 1 or more years of experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Responsibilities:

  • Lead 3rd shift (Third shift) factory operations to deliver quality product, done correctly, and on-time
  • Promote and maintain good employee relations with associates
  • Build positive working relationships with teammates, coach, mentor, train, and develop staff
  • Collaborate with Technical Support team, Maintenance team, Safety team, Quality-Food Safety team, and other internal departments
  • Monitor line performance and ensure output, labor and material standards are achieved meeting HARIBO’s high quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Prior experience with processing equipment in food/pharma manufacturing
  • Prior experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment
  • TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Basic knowledge of industrial equipment, industrial maintenance
  • Basic Financial understanding to ensure business results are delivered
