We are currently in search of a programmer/analyst with a focus on enhancing the efficiency of our information systems. This role primarily involves:
- Identifying and resolving technical issues and challenges.
- Developing, scripting, testing, and deploying new code.
- The individual in this position will receive training and guidance from our senior programmer while reporting directly to the department director.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Code development will be in a specialized language and will interface with our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system provided by a prominent software solutions provider.
- Create, modify, and optimize programs to address business requirements and challenges.
- Generate reports and furnish data to support organizational analysis and decision-making.
- Thoroughly test programming changes and new software, both independently and in collaboration with the senior programmer.
- Provide assistance and support for Help Desk requests, particularly when users encounter issues with existing programs.
- Offer assistance and fulfill AIX system administrator duties as needed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and, upon approval, implement solutions to realize those opportunities.

Collaborate with management, end users, and colleagues in the information systems department to strategize and evaluate project progress.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Adeptness with the AIX (Unix) Operating System.

UniBasic ExperienceΒ
- Prior experience with the ERP system from a specific software provider is a bonus.
- OR
- Experience with Business Basic Language or the Pick Operating System.
