Foth Production Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Project Process Designer who has a desire to contribute to our clients’ success and is looking for new learning experiences, and opportunities for career growth. This position will be working out of our Green Bay, WI; Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Chicago, Illinois or remote location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design piping and process systems for a variety of industrial wastewater, consumer goods, food, and beverage projects
- Create process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Perform QA/QC of design and drawing packages
- Work as part of a collaborative project team integrated with contractors, vendors, and clients
- Travel to client site as required for project meetings and field data collection
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in drafting/design or equivalent technical experience
- 7+ years of industry-relevant experience working as a designer
Required previous recent experience with the following:
- Process and utility system piping design in a 3D environment
- 3D piping and equipment specification, model generation, and database management
- Utilizing point cloud data to develop 3D designs
- Integration and management of multi-party 3D models into a single model for use by the project team
- Piping standards and component specifications for P&IDs
- Coordination of design packages with multiple resources, disciplines, and vendors
- Designing pipe supports and typical mechanical details for process systems
- Generating 2D piping plans
- Creating elevations and isometrics from a 3D model or from existing 2D files
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working as a designer in the consumer products, food, and/or beverage industries
Preferred recent experience with the following:
- AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Navisworks
- Autodesk Recap
- AutoCAD and/or Microstation
- Development of pipe and valve specifications
- Utility/Process piping design, clean-in-place (CIP) system design, and/or FDA standard design
- Industrial Wastewater system design
$80,000 - $110,000 a year
The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.
