Quality Control Supervisor

 

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to delivering top-quality products.  As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join their team.

 


Position Overview:Are you a Senior Quality Tech or QC Lead ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Quality Control Supervisor to lead our QC team and ensure the highest standards of quality across our production processes. In this role, you will supervise a team of two QC technicians and collaborate closely with various departments to maintain and improve product quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the Quality Control (QC) team.

  • Act as the primary QC representative in communications with customers and suppliers.

  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to enhance product quality and resolve any issues.

  • Develop, implement, and update quality control procedures and documentation.

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives both within the company and across the supply chain.

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term solutions to quality issues.

  • Manage and maintain quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

  • Provide training and guidance to QC team members on testing procedures and QC tools.

  • Support overall business goals with tactical action plans related to quality control.

  • Work closely with the Regulatory and Compliance Management teams to ensure adherence to all regulations.


Qualifications:


  • 5-7 years of quality control experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Background in processing manufacturing (food, chemical, or related industries is preferred).

  • Associate’s degree or technical background in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field. (A BS in Chemistry is ideal but not required.)

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
