Orbital Engineering, Inc is seeking a skilled and proactive SaaS System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This is a fully remote position. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, optimizing, and integrating key SaaS applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft Teams, Atlassian systems (including Jira), Egnyte, and Workato. The role requires expertise in cloud-based administration, collaboration platforms, file-sharing solutions, and workflow automation, and Microsoft 365.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


 Position duties include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Atlassian Systems (Jira) Administration


    • Administer Jira instances, including user management, project configurations, and workflows.

    • Implement and maintain Jira integrations with other tools and services.

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure system performance.


  • Microsoft Teams Administration:


    • Configure and manage user accounts, channels, and access permissions in Microsoft Teams.

    • Optimize Teams settings for collaboration efficiency and user experience.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve Teams-related issues promptly.


  • Egnyte File System Administration


    • Configure and maintain Egnyte system, ensuring seamless access and collaboration.

    • Implement and optimize Egnyte security settings and access controls.


  • Workato Integration and Automation


    • Design, implement, and manage integrations using Workato, ensuring seamless connectivity between different SaaS applications.

    • Create and maintain automated workflows to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.


  • Microsoft 365 Administration


    • Administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

    • Configure user accounts, security settings, and access controls within the Microsoft 365 environment.

    • Monitor and manage Microsoft 365 services and troubleshoot issues as they arise.


  • SaaS Optimization


    • Continuously evaluate and implement best practices for optimizing the performance of Microsoft Teams, Atlassian systems, Egnyte, and Workato.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SaaS applications efficiently.


  • Security and Compliance


    • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard SaaS applications, including Workato.

    • Stay informed about security updates and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence.


  • Documentation and Training


    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

    • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of SaaS applications.


  • Help Desk Support


    • Act as an additional resource to the help desk team, providing expertise and support as needed.

    • Collaborate with the help desk to address escalated issues and contribute to a timely resolution.


  • Collaboration and Communication


    • Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to address issues, plan upgrades, and implement improvements.

    • Communicate effectively about system changes and updates.



Requirements:



  • Proven experience as a SaaS System Administrator with expertise in Atlassian systems (Jira), Microsoft Teams, Egnyte, Microsoft 365, and Workato.

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based administration, SaaS best practices, and system integration.

  • Familiarity with security protocols, compliance requirements, and data protection measures.

  • Experience in designing and implementing SaaS integrations, particularly with Workato.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.


Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator, Atlassian Certified Professional) are a plus.
