Senior Electrical Engineer Position at Busek

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support all of Busek’s propulsion thruster projects, including the design, development, assembly, testing, and debugging of space flight products. You will have the opportunity to research and create innovative solutions throughout the design phase, enhancing Busek’s capabilities in space exploration. Success in this role requires experience in designing, developing, testing, and implementing electrical hardware for complex systems. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute directly to space flight programs supporting cutting-edge missions for NASA, other government agencies, and the commercial space sector. How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design, assemble, and test space-related electronic systems.
  • Create electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical boards.
  • Document and analyze test results.

Desired Experience:

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
  • Experience with circuit simulations (LTSpice or similar).
  • PCB design experience with Altium Designer or similar software.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping (power supplies, soldering).
  • Experience in DC-DC converter design (various topologies).
  • Background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal design.
