Overview


Empire Office is seeking a Staff Accountant in our Milford—PA (hybrid) location to join our growing team.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process including timely preparation of journal entries, reconciliations of general ledger accounts, and other documents that depict the company’s financial position

  • Perform daily banking tasks and reporting

  • Analyze profit and loss statements

  • Assist with monthly internal reporting on the company’s financial position

  • Assist with interim, year-end, and ad-hoc audit requests

  • Various other duties in support of the Accounting Department


 


Skills & Qualifications


  • College degree, with major in Accounting

  • 1-2 years of Accounting experience

  • Working knowledge of GAAP

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving/analytical skills

  • Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
